Maher Automotive is a family owned business that has operated in the Yass Valley for over 20 years and we are thankful to have such a passionate, skilled team with nearly 30 year’s experience working in the automotive repair industry.

Our knowledgeable tyre fitting staff has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the tyre industry. That means explaining your issues to them will be effortless, whether you need new tyres, a wheel alignment, tyre and wheel repair or just about anything else tyre related, they'll be able to help you out.

MECHANICAL REPAIRS

Log book servicing is our specialty. If you’re in need of log book servicing, general repairs to your car, van or any other vehicle our team will gladly take a look at the damage or issue and determine cost, timeframe and feasibility for you. All vehicle servicing will be assessed and quoted before work will commence.  

If your vehicle is part of a fleet maintenance company, Maher Automotive can cater to your log book servicing, wheel alignment and tyre replacement requirements. 

WHEELS AND TYRES

Worn or bald tyres are extremely unsafe and means it’s definitely time to have them replaced. Maher Automotive sell a large range of tyre brands, so you can rest assured you’ll be driving away with a quality set of new tyres. Whether you’re looking for off-road tyres, light vehicle tyres or even light commercial tyres, we’ve got you covered. 


If you’ve noticed your steering wheel isn’t entirely straight, your tyres are wearing as you drive or your car just does not feel right, you may need a wheel alignment. Correcting your vehicles wheel alignment will improve fuel efficiency, tyre wear as well as handling.

Our knowledgeable tyre fitting staff have had extensive training in this area and can perform and advise on steering and suspension corrections to most vehicles 

EXHAUST

Your vehicle’s exhaust has a variety of functions, mainly noise reduction and to remove toxic fumes from under the car away from the passengers. If you’re having issues with your exhaust, suspect something’s wrong, or would like a new, bigger exhaust, we’re able to repair or replace your exhaust system.

BATTERIES

Vehicle batteries come in a range of different sizes and even shapes. We will choose or order in a battery that’s perfectly suited to your vehicle, whether its a truck, car or just about anything else.
Fitting the correct battery to your vehicle is crucial to maintain the integrity of electrical components. 

REGISTRATION CHECKS

As an authorised vehicle inspector, Maher Automotive is able to conduct registration checks for most vehicles including LPG pinkslip and blueslip inspections.

4WD SUSPENSION LIFT KITS

At Maher Automotive we fit tough dog suspension lift kits to common 4x4 applications and can advise on tyre and rim suitability to compliment your new lift kit.
